3377 - Geospatial Deputy Program Manager

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated Deputy Program Manager (DPM). The DPM will plan, organize, and utilize resources to successfully staff and meet program objectives. The DPM will manage compliance with training requirements and performance reviews. The DPM also will prepare, deliver, and present required reports both internally to the company and externally to the customer. The DPM, along with the Program Manager, will be responsible for planning, directing, scheduling, and executing all SOW elements.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Program Development
  • Task Order technical and staffing proposal assistance, including coordination with recruiting and pricing functional areas
  • Assisting professional and technical development of project leaders, enabling them to set goals, monitor, mentor, and coach and assist team members to deliver quality
  • Program Execution:
  • Formulate and enforce contract work standards and implement appropriate corrective action to resolve issues; help ensure contract compliance
  • Manage contractor team personnel and communicate the policies and goals of the customer
  • Identify/interview candidates for open positions
  • Ensure effective use of contract resources and avoid unnecessary management and overhead functions
  • Help plan, coordinate, and manage a team of technical, geospatial staff distributed across multiple customer sites, supporting multiple projects/efforts
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and remain in-scope; monitor and track project dependencies
  • Create/deliver high-quality, informative, written/verbal project communications, including weekly and monthly project status reports, quarterly management reports, dashboards, and updates
  • Help monitor, track, and manage project tasks, timelines, attainment of established milestones, and overall project quality

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of prior relevant GEOINT experience, with 5+ years of experience supervising or leading geospatial analysis or production teams and projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Intelligence, Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability and strong interpersonal skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated success in staff augmentation projects/programs, operations management, and business development
  • Identifying technical and personnel gaps/needs and implementing technology within the customer and other similar agencies/services
  • Ability to help scale PMO and support functions in concert with program growth and pace
  • Experience on customer systems

CLEARANCE:

  • TS/SCI minimum with ability to obtain and maintain CI Polygraph
