Provide Project Management in a technical research fusion center.
Will be a direct report to the program manager supporting both customer mission initiatives and company strategic initiatives.
Main role is to collect requirements, help with prioritization, and ensure user stories are provided to development teams. Fusion center is made up of many different agencies and includes allied country Representation. A successful candidate will thrive in an environment with lots of brainstorming, ideas, and opinions where they can formulate clear outcomes and products. Will work with developers from multiple contracting companies to reach stakeholder goals.
In this role you educate government and other contractors while championing the establishment of Product Owners and Agile Processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
7 + years of relevant experience with project management.
Ability to facilitate requirements discussions and formulate achievable outcomes.
Experience with supporting SW development projects involving multiple developers, including working with planning tools like Jira and Gitlab.
Knowledge of git or equivalent version control systems
Possession of excellent analytical and technical writing skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Good at Leading and Mentoring Staff. Encourage the creative process to include diversity of thought and Inclusion of ideas.
PMI PMP or SAFe PO/PM or Scrum Alliance CSPO certification
BA or BS degree
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Multiple Agile Certifications
Experience with software development on mobile platforms.
